How to Disable User Account Control (UAC) in Vista

Step 1

Open Administrative Tools in Control Panel

Step 2

Double-click on System Configuration

Step 3

Click Continue to accept the UAC prompt

Step 4

Select the Tools tab

Step 5

Scroll down and select Disable UAC

Step 6

Click Launch

Step 7

Reboot your machine
