How to Manage Start Up Programs

Step1

First off, select that start menu on the bottom right corner of your window, and then select the RUN command.

Step2

Type in "MsConfig" into the text box, this will bring up your System Configuration window.

Step3

The tab that we are interested in is the Startup tab. Select this tab and a list of all the programs set to run on startup are listed. Un-check any program that you don't need or want to run when you 1st turn on your computer.

Step4

Doing this can dramatically improve the time it takes for your computer to start. Enjoy!
